Privacy policy
Last updated:
This page explains what happens to your information when you visit digitabank.uk.
DigitaBank is run by Alkidra Group Enterprises UK Limited (company number 15719343), which is the data controller for this information.
This policy does not cover purchases. We sell only through our shop on Etsy. If you buy from us there, the privacy policy on our Etsy shop page and Etsy's own Privacy Policy apply to that order.
The short version
- You can read every page without telling us who you are.
- This site has no forms and no accounts, so it never asks for your name or your email address.
- It sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser.
- It has no analytics, no advertising trackers and no social media plug-ins.
- Every page, picture and style comes from digitabank.uk. Nothing is loaded from another website and no script runs in your browser.
What is collected when you visit
Our web host, Cloudflare, serves these pages. Like any web host, it receives your IP address, the page you asked for, the date and time, and the type of browser and device you use. Cloudflare keeps this in its server logs and uses it to deliver the site and to protect it from attacks.
Cloudflare shows us totals, such as how many requests the site received. It also shows us a record of requests it blocked or challenged, which includes the IP address and browser type of each one. We use these only to keep the site working and secure.
Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie if it has to check that a visitor is not an automated program. The site itself sets none.
Links to Etsy
Our pages link to our shop on Etsy. If you follow a link, Etsy can see that you came from digitabank.uk, but not which page you were on. Etsy's own Privacy Policy applies from there.
If you contact us
You can message us through our Etsy shop or write to the address at the end of this page. We receive what you send and use it only to answer you.
Why we are allowed to use it
We rely on our legitimate interests in delivering this site, keeping it secure and answering people who contact us. We do not use your information for automated decisions or profiling.
Who we share it with
- Cloudflare, which hosts this site.
- Authorities or professional advisers, where the law requires it or to protect our rights.
If our business is sold or merged, your information may pass to the new owner as the law allows. We do not sell your information.
International transfers
Cloudflare and members of our team may process your information outside the UK and the EU. Where they do, we rely on the safeguards Cloudflare offers, such as standard contractual clauses, and our team only accesses what is needed to answer you. Ask us if you would like to know more about these safeguards.
How long it is kept
Cloudflare keeps its server logs under its own retention rules. We do not keep a copy of them. We keep what you send us by post only for as long as we need it to deal with your question. Messages sent through Etsy are covered by the privacy policy on our Etsy shop page.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, including the UK and the EU, you can ask to access, correct or delete your information, restrict or object to how we use it, or receive a copy. We will answer within one month.
You can also complain to your data protection authority. In the UK that is the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). We would like the chance to put things right first, so please contact us if something is wrong.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
